Why track your subscriptions?
The average person underestimates their subscription spending by 2-3x. A $15.99 streaming service feels small. Add a $12 software tool, a $10 fitness app, a $5 news subscription, and it's over $500 per year before you notice. Tracking them in one place makes the total visible — and makes it easy to cut what you don't use.
How your data is stored
When you first open this page, your browser generates a random anonymous ID. That ID is stored in your browser's localStorage. Your subscriptions are saved to a Cloudflare D1 database, keyed to that anonymous ID. No email, no account, no personal information. If you clear your browser data, you lose access to your subscriptions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. The tool generates a random anonymous ID in your browser and stores your subscriptions under that ID. You don't provide an email, password, or any personal information.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
You'll lose access to your saved subscriptions because the anonymous ID is stored in localStorage. If you want to keep your data, don't clear browser data for this site, or export your list first.
Is my data private?
Yes. We don't collect emails, IPs, or any identifying information. Your subscriptions are stored in a database under an anonymous ID that only your browser knows. We can't link the data to you as a person.
Can I track annual subscriptions?
Yes. When adding a subscription, choose "Yearly" as the billing cycle. The calculator automatically converts it to a monthly equivalent so the totals stay consistent.
Does this sync across devices?
No. The anonymous ID is per-browser. To use this tool on multiple devices, you'd need to export your subscriptions and re-add them on the other device.
